It’s been a good spell since this blog has brought music forth for your enjoyment. I have two for you today.
The first is new, yet quite familiar. The band that made up the former David Crowder Band now has their own group called The Digital Age. They are posting rehearsal videos on their website right now, and I quite enjoyed this song called All the Poor and the Powerless.
Second for you is an “oldie but a goodie”. This is from Hillsong, entitled “Beautiful Exchange”.
Feel free to bask in the worshippy goodness of these two songs. See you next time!
I can tell that you have been waiting for another Music posting. Tonight’s song features brilliantly simplistic lyrics and gorgeous cello.
It really gets me every time I hear it. “Only one word comes to mind. There’s only one word to describe. Holy, holy, Lord God Almighty.”
Hey Folks, it’s time for another blog. I know you have been sitting in the corner wrapped in a blanket, rocking back and forth and going through terrible withdrawal in anticipation of my next blog. I’m writing this blog from beautiful Nashville, Tennessee. I’m just a little excited to be back here. Anyway, to the blog!
I wanted to share with you a song that really resonates with me.
You Won’t Relent
I love the message of this song. The Holy Spirit won’t relent until He has every part of me. I very much understand and relate to what Paul is saying when he said the things he doesn’t want to do he keeps on doing and etc.. but I feel like I am not alone in this. I am ready to have the Holy Spirit take all. Thoughts?
Red released a new album in February called Until We Have Faces. This album, much like their other 2, is completely amazing. They do not fail to put everything into their music. They just released the first video for this new album, the song “Feed the Machine”. Many times, it seems like when a band does a music video it’s kind of goofy and just serves to ruin what the song means to you. This is not one of those videos! The video is very well done and goes right along with the message of the song. I high recommend it! Check out Red!
